Painting Landscapes
Why do I paint landscapes? I paint them because I love being a part of nature while painting. It can be a zen-like experience once you get past the technical part of the painting. I feel that today we spend so much of our time in cars, in front of the TV, and computer, that many do not get to experience the health that can come from being outside. I hope that my paintings inspire viewers to want to get out there and see and feel what I felt while painting.

Your work is just lovely. I agree that painting outdoors is the best, especially in the area where you live. I'm totally jealous, since I live right outside of Chicago and sometimes it's hard to find paintable scenes. Keep up the wonderful work!
