Art Isn't Easy!

While painting at McCullough Gulch with two other painting buddies, one of them dropped her palette into the stream...Karen, from NC, is shown here fishing out her paint. Fortunately her painting was almost finished.

Painting Trip to the Tetons

Last Monday I travelled to the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. It had been a long time since I had visited this awesome place. I painted while my husband watched for wildlife as well as monitoring spectators.

Carter Museum

Here's the plein air painting I did during the PAAC paint out last week. It was a challenge, because of all the detail on the restored cabin that is now a historical museum.
I remembered that I loved the morning light and that is what this painting is really about.

PAAC - paints Breckenridge

This is the site I selected for my morning painting, the Carter Museum. Painting historic buildings is difficult, and I will attach the painting completed from this location later.

Six other plein air artist's survived the day with me. We had fun introducing the art of plein air painting to many art walker's.
