Here We Go Round and Round

This was a challenge...paint a historic carousel at the Folk Life Festival at the Millicent Rogers museum in Taos. Here is what was created there...while the "Tivo Vivo" was whirling.I did this for the Lions Club Fundraiser to be held in Taos in mid June. It was fun...and I was pleased with the result.

Painting in Taos

Just returned from several days of plein air painting in Taos,NM with the Plein Air Painters of CO as well as the New Mexico group. Painting in Taos is a special experience... the landscape is so varied and the light changes quickly...painting the Rio Grande Gorge is a challenge because of that factor. All the artists had trouble with it!

Three of us found a wonderful spot in tiny Placitas...painted a very old church here as well as the valley in the background of my photo op...
