Here's a painting I did as a potential selection for the Breckenridge Music Festival's annual poster contest. Unfortunately it wasn't selected...but another one of my paintings ended up being the poster for 2008. I'll post it later...or visit my website...www.amyevansart.com. The reason this one wasn't selected was strictly because it would be difficult to reproduce. Why? Because of all the subtle greens...got me to thinking about why an original has so much more "eye candy" than a reproduction...could it be more variety in the values?
